John O. Burden, Sr.
CEO/Partner
John O. Burden, Sr. is a founding partner and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Manager of Broadcrest Asset Management, LLC. In this role, John drives the strategic vision of Broadcrest, oversees operations and is responsible for leading professional development. John is actively involved in the management and operations of Broadcrest’s private portfolio companies, including serving on the board as the Vice Chairman of One Florida Bank and its holding company and acting as Chairman of both Organics Management Holdings and Southeast Elevator Holdings. He also previously served as Chairman for Therapy Partner Solutions Holdings. Prior to co-founding Broadcrest, John was President and Chief Executive Officer of Old Florida Bancshares, Inc., a $1.6 billion multi-bank financial holding company in Orlando, Florida. Earlier in his career, John was a founding team member of United Heritage Bank, where he served in various capacities including credit, commercial and mortgage banking, and operations. John holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and was a scholarship athlete on the football team.

Charles B. Dudley
Partner
Charles B. Dudley is a founding partner and serves as a Managing Director and Co-Manager of Broadcrest Asset Management, LLC. In this role, Charlie focuses on strategic opportunities, evaluating business characteristics and correlations to drive Broadcrest’s portfolio forward. Charlie is actively involved in the management and analysis of opportunities across Broadcrest’s funds. Prior to co-founding Broadcrest, Charlie was Chief Financial Officer and Principal at Arsenal Venture Partners, a multi-stage venture capital firm with $225 million under management, where he was responsible for managing financial reporting, led negotiations and diligence for various investments, and helped scale portfolio companies into Fortune 500 customers. Earlier in his career, Charlie was a Vice President in J.P. Morgan's Investment Bank where he covered industrial companies globally. Charlie holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Rollins College.

James A. Hughes, Jr.
Managing Director
James A. Hughes, Jr. is a founding partner and serves as a Managing Director and Co-Manager of Broadcrest Asset Management, LLC. In this role, Jamie focuses on Broadcrest’s public portfolio, analyzing markets and figures to develop informed forecasts for strategic decision making. To do this, Jamie leverages over 30 years of experience in the securities industry including portfolio management, security analysis, private equity valuation, acquisitions, and management. Prior to co-founding Broadcrest, Jamie co-founded the Courage Capital Management Long Short Opportunities Fund in 2010 with Courage Capital Management, LLC as the seed investor. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst at Ergon Capital from 2008 to 2009 and CEO of Big Lake Media LLC from 2003 to 2008. He also held analytical roles at V4, Patriot, Water Street Capital, and SunTrust Capital Management. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration & Investments from Stetson University.

Joshua Davis
Chief Financial Officer
Joshua Davis is the CFO for Broadcrest. In addition to his financial responsibilities, Josh oversees all aspects of firm operations and works with portfolio company leadership in the financial functions of the respective businesses. Prior to joining Broadcrest, he spent over 15 years in public accounting with roles in auditing, valuation, and transaction advisory. Josh holds a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University.

Emily Farrar
Director of Communications
Emily Farrar is the Director of Communications for Broadcrest. In this role, Emily is focused on improving the investor experience through communications. She leverages over 10 years of experience at Lockheed Martin and in financial services with roles focused on marketing and communication across channels and audiences. Emily holds an MBA and B.S. in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.

Kelvin Mills
Investment Associate
Kelvin Mills is an Investment Associate for Broadcrest. In this role, Kelvin supports the firm’s private equity investment activities — including mergers and acquisitions — to facilitate growth. He has experience at J.P. Morgan and Truist in private investments and corporate banking. Kelvin holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations with a minor in Business from Cornell University.

JD Mitchell
Investment Analyst
JD Mitchell is an Investment Analyst for Broadcrest. In this role, he supports the firm’s private equity investment activities by managing the acquisition pipeline, performing industry and market analyses, and assisting in the M&A diligence process. Prior to Broadcrest, JD worked in commercial real estate investment specializing in multifamily acquisitions and asset management. JD holds a B.S. in Mathematics-Economics from Furman University.
